Is Global Services now a Mileage Plus level?

The Global Services card has never, since inception had Mileage Plus on it. However, I noticed that on my new GS card where it used to say Global Services, now it says Mileage Plus, and where it used to say 1K Million Mile Flyer, now it says Global Services Million Mile Flyer - the card no longer has 1K on it anywhere - interesting.

It already came up ih this thread. Since all GS members are automatically 1K, it would be redundant to have both.

Ooops, I did not see that thread...

All GS members are 1K now? Thought there were some odd number of GPs out there (and I don't mean Gold Preferred on US Airways ;)).

I think it may be more than that. I think the OP may be right...
