I notice this was N647UA, which also flew (at least) PS flights 4, 15 and 16 on the 3rd. It's also been announced that this aircraft is the first to receive the new F/C seats, and I haven't seen it at SFO since your flight. So maybe yours was the last BIS

12/31 15 (JFK-SFO) a 767 instead of 757 ps?
Even though this flight shows as being a 757 still, when I look at the seatmaps on .bomb I see maps for 3-class 767. Is this one of those old non-sleeper non-suite seats in F 767s? We're in F for that flight, should I try to get moved to another flight now?
I've never done F in p.s. before and I'd sort of hate to end up in an old crappy F seat after all this...

Hate to break the news, but Flt 15 (JFK-SFO) on 12/31 is scheduled to be a 3-class 767. Though things can change between now and then, you may want to look into changing flights if the non-suite F seats aren't what you're looking for.

Many would consider this an upgrade, despite the F seat not being fully flat.

A 777 would be an upgrade but I would definitely want to switch to a different plane if it's a 767. I'm on PS today in C for the first time ever and I would be really disappointed if I ended up on a 767. I am very anxious to try this product out!

Talk to us after you fly the p.s. 757. You may eat your words.

I've been in F suites on 777 and 747, never on 757 p.s. but the last time I was in F on a 767 was in the early 2000's on the SFO-JFK route. Those seats were total crap. At least these have to be better than that (I hope).
But the one bright spot about the swap is a GM friend of mine is in Y on this flight and with more C seats I might be able to upgrade her to C (since she probably got booted to E- on equipment swap).

Not so sure about F, but I would almost consider it an upgrade in C because of the PTV.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)
I might if it weren't 12/31 and I've seen all the movies UA had to offer in December, some several times.
However, because we were expecting p.s. I didn't pack the emPower adapter and we might be really missing the regular plugs for our own laptops/videos

Okies, that's a good point, especially if you were counting on it. Makes sense.

My PS equipment is downgraded again!!
I have got to being having the worst luck this week. On a 60K mile PS F award. Last Sunday - SFO-JFK cancelled. Rebooked for Monday, show up at airport, equipment now a 2-cabin 757, manage to go standby on next flight and get into PS F.
Today's return. Confirmed on the 5:45pm, equipment already swaped to 2 cabin 757. On waitlist for 3:26 flight, but that one is going to be a 767 - supposedly 3 cabin. Sold out in F, oversold by 1 in C. Guess I'll still try and show up in time for the 3:26pm flight.
So glad I've choosen VX for my next two SFO-JFK roundtrips.

Wasn't the bird clipped at SFO last week a p.s. 752?

Yes, the plane last week at SFO was one of the 12 PS 757, and they typically fly 11.
