Help in decipher standby code

Hi, I requested standby on an earlier flight tomorrow during check-in @united.com The boarding priority code printed is BP5, what does that mean, if any.

It means that you have a revenue (vs standby or company travel) ticket and are requesting to go at a different time. You would be a 5B vs 5A, where the decision to go would be out of your contoll (a cncld flight or misconnect) would get you the 5a (which gets preference over b)
