Finding *A flights on .bomb
 
Is there a way to force .bomb to find star alliance flights? I have checked the "include star alliance flights" box but all I get are UAL and codeshare flights. I would like to get tix to LHR and I know that Air Canada is offering a good price. I can buy them off the AC site for $471 but I would rather buy them through .bomb to get the bonus miles on my MP Visa. Alas, no AC flights show up in my search results. TIA

You'll probably just have to go to the AC website--it'll never show you an all AC itinerary, and even if it did, UA might not be able to issue the ticket on their own stock.

On the old website it was possible to look up itineraries on specific airlines, and just before the swapped it for the new website I figured out a way to hack in searching on more three airlines, but that functionality is gone now :(

You get nothing special for purchasing non-UA flights on united.com
  1. You will not get any EQM since it's not a United flight, and
  2. You get the double RDM regardless of where you purchase a *A ticket.
