MP+ PremExec 2007, Should I switch now?

I will have just squeaked in at 50,000 miles this year, with the possibility of flying 20,000 more before we flip to an even 08. Should I just drop those miles in Asiana or BMI for the time being, or keep putting them in my MP bucket.

I don't have a chance a 1k on UA, and Star Gold is as high as it goes for me. UGS isn't possible when all my flights are on NZ :).

Would love your thoughts.

Thanks

For the past few years, United has run a Double EQM promo where you pay a fee and flights earn Double EQMs. The cost was $499 last year, and it was announced at the start of October. The time period is around October 25-December 15, and it varies slightly by each year. If the promo is offered, then you could concentrate your flying to fly 25,000 EQMs, and you would reach 1K.

But not when "when all (his) flights are on NZ".

I'm curious ... why don't you put the new miles into NZ's Airpoints?
