When do you get system wide upgrades?

In January of the next year, although IIRC there are some stories about being able to get 1 or 2 advanced the previous year.

Correct, January 1. In the past few years UA has allowed an early deposit in November, but this also meant that they expire 12 months from then.

That's what it was last year, IIRC.

IIRC, if you are making 1K for the first time (and it is not late in the year - ie now), you will get a 1K kit for that year which should include the drink tickets and the electronic deposit of the 6 SWUs. I could be wrong about this because it has been a number of years since I first made 1K. If I am correct, those SWUs will expire in January of 2008

Other posters are correct in that SWUs post in January each time you requalify for 1K.

This is m first time getting to the 1K level and I have some international trips planned for the rest of the year....I hope they get into my account before November.:-::eek::-:

Wish I had better news, but don't keep your fingers crossed or your breath held - you will most likely only see them in November if UA offers the early deposit option again this year. I am pretty sure they will, but if you have Sept/Oct Int'l travel planned - plan on riding in E+.
