Low Fare Guarantee: Same Fare Basis Code?
 

Let's say I find an L fare on Orbitz, and ual.com only has an S fare for the exact same flights. Can I buy on Orbitz and get the difference refunded, plus cert for another flight? Has anyone had difficulty with this, on account of the condition that the same fare rules and restrictions must apply to both fares?

I don't see that the same basis is required, just that the comparative fare is a "retail" fare.
