Ual.com - Error 500/Hypertext transfer protocol

ua.bomb never ceases to amaze. Starting from

http://www.united.com/page/article/0...2Fstarupgrades

4. Upgrade requests conveniently handled through united.com.
Visit Star Alliance upgrades, whose link is:

https://www.ua2go.com/starmua/starmu...Calculator.jsp

gives me:

Error 500--Internal Server Error
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
10.5.1 500 Internal Server Error

The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from
fulfilling the request. (very convenient indeed)

That's one way of reducing the number of awards claimed.

I got the same message when using Firefox. It works with IE, though.

Still not doing much better at 2:51 PT

When attempting to access the seat map:

Error 500--Internal Server Error
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
10.5.1 500 Internal Server Error
The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.

When attempting to book:

Your session timed out.

The red message is gone, and you can make it through the first steps of booking, but if you select a fare or want to look at the seat map:

Error 500--Internal Server Error
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
10.5.1 500 Internal Server Error
The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.

Darn it UA! Let me buy the darned ticket on line!

Any one else having problems?

I've been trying to book a ticket for the last two hours but get the same error each time.

Yet another revenue-prevention "feature" of united.bomb ... trying to book a transpac ticket in C and I get

Error 500--Internal Server Error
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
10.5.1 500 Internal Server Error
The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request

This is not acceptable behavior for a professional website, and certainly should not be a condition persisting for several days now, as this thread clearly indicates.

Is there anyone monitoring the site?

Anyone on united-bomb monitoring this board?

United is losing revenues. I'm sick and tired of trying again and again. I will fly CO instead.

For the past few days I've been receiving dozens of these messages:

Error 500--Internal Server Error
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
10.5.1 500 Internal Server Error
The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.

Seems to happen whenever I try to change any of my selection options after the inital page is displayed, but it also happens when I try to actually book a flight. Wonder if anyone at WHQ is wondering why bookings are down, I think I might know why.

This was using IE, Firefox is better but introduced another problem which is that I don't get the same list of flights twice in a row. This is ORD-CHS and switching back and forth between schedule and price gives completely different lists of flights, and never the same list on the same display twice (switching from "price" to "schedule" and then back to "price" results in different flight options than when I was on price the first time.) No, I'm not drunk, just in case you were wondering.

Tried to book one of the sale fares to LIH and received this error message:

Error 500--Internal Server Error
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
10.5.1 500 Internal Server Error
The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.
