Same Day Standby Quick Question
 

I know I should do a search, but its already one of THOSE weeks.

I'm on a 6 pm flight tomorrow. Right now the earlier flight is open (thanks to KVS, I know this).

If I check in tonight on line at 6 pm can I
a) request the standby (and confirm with the $25 fee waived as a 1K)
b) resubmit my upgrade request.

Can't do confirmed standby until four hours prior to departure, so the only thing OLCI will (maybe) allow you to do is add yourself to the regular standby list for one of the earlier flights.

If you do call four hours before the earlier flight departs and are able to confirm a seat on the flight, then yes, at that time you can request an upgrade.
