Whew! From your thread title I was thinking that an image of Christ had appeared on a bagel at an RCC. Glad we were able to avoid that mass hysteria
On a more serious note, I'll be going through DEN this afternoon and Friday morning and will assess the magnitude of the bread products. Maybe the "big bagel" is a new RCC feature...?

heh, your expectations are too high! We can't have the "Deal of the century" everyday! I prefer we get back to the discussing who had to suffer eating cold nuts!

That was probably all the bakery had in the day-old selection this morning...
Look for the dried up, miniature ones to return tomorrow...

At the SNA RCC last week they had some multi-grain bagels, that were sealed in individual packages as opposed to the usual min-bagels. I they were OK but not great. Is this was DEN had as well?

They weren't great, but better than the mini's. I realize this is on the low end of FT excitement news, but at 5:30am, it's one of those things that grabs your attention. Of course anything at the RCC grabs your attention.

Ah, individually wrapped. This must mean that they're not fresh and loaded with preservatives. Sounds more like the RCC I remember.

The individually wrapped (large) bagels are a regular feature at the DCA RCC in the mornings. They are quite good, IMHO.
