Or <shudder> there aren't enough Ted planes to cover the Ted market and more 320's will get converted <another shudder>.

Yes, because it was iluv who bought the house and didn't want to fly TED.

I have taken these flights twice in the past month. The ORD-LAS one is a 319 that leaves at 8:45 p.m., so nothing but a cheese and fuit plate for a snack. The return is a 320 at 6:25 a.m. and you have a choice of omlette or fruit plate. Trust me, the majority of the people are still asleep so you can have your choice with no proble.m

So better than AA. The 9 something PM flight doesn't offer anything except pretzels to nibble on..

The A319 can be a challenge to upgrade, though? I'm 100% to/from Vegas on AA

I too am 100 percent on AA, as well as 100 percent on UA.

I booked and ticketed my last UA flight to LAS at 4:30 p.m., a little over four hours before the flight. NF was still available. I was waitlisted on the return, but it cleared a few days before the flight.

I've been doing the LAS-ORD in first class (someone else above posted it's a 320, but it's been a 319 for me on Monday mornings). Although it goes away soon, I just looked up 10/8 - 10/12 and they have United 12 as the 6:45 a.m. LAS-ORD and United 21 as the 8:00 p.m. ORD->LAS. Didn't check the exact dates for when it starts back up or when/if it ends...
