Easy Update Dazed and Confused
 
I was surprised today when I received my Easy Update messages early. Instead of my scheduled three hour update, I received it at the four hour interval by both SMS and email. However upon further examination I realized that my flight time was not correct.

The following flight is scheduled for departure:

Flight Number: 27
Departing From: JFK New York (JFK)
Traveling To: Los Angeles (LAX)
Date: April 5
Gate: 9 (Gate information is subject to change)
Estimated Departure Time: 3:00 p.m. on time
I could have sworn that the flight was scheduled for 2 and when I went back and checked I was correct. I guess this is the just the latest enhancement, a flight can't be late if they say it is on time.

P.S. Can anyone figure out why the delay? It looks like we will be on the morning flight from SFO, they must be down a plane.

UA 27 is delayed by 1 hour to 3pm, and scheduled to arrive only 15 minutes late.

The other JFK-LAX flights are just early by a few minutes, so it's not weak headwinds going westbound. I agree, 15 minutes late arrival for a 1 hour departure delay does not seem realistic, but that's what FLIFO says.

Yea I think it will be closer to 3:30. The morning flight from SFO, which is suppose to park at the same gate, arrives at 2:30ish, I believe. I don't think they can turn around a PS flight that quickly.
