Booking class for RTWF

For RTWF business class, is D the only booking class? Thanks.

I like the F class one, since it books into A...

Business Class is D only (or M if all Economy plane).

I know Economy Class RTW's book into M, but wouldn't a First or Business RTW book into Y on a single-class flight? Seems odd to buy an A or D ticket, and get an M.

Except the *Lite which books into H.

M, always. No compensation offered.

Right, but there is no star lite for F/C RTW tickets.

Right, just economy :) I was just commenting that all the economy RTW book into M except the *Lite, which is H.

What's *Lite?

I don't know the gory details (although lots of *A experts do I am sure), but it's a *A RTW fare that is lower than the regular RTW fare. It is only available in Y and allows fewer maximum miles than the regular RTW fare.

*Lite is the 26,000 mile Econ-only, *A RTW fare. Instead of 15 stops you're also limited to 5. Sometimes they're cheaper then an (expensive) economy fare ex-Eastern Europe to the U.S. For example, I got one out of Moldova for 1440 Euro.

Sorry I was typing way too fast. I meant RTW fare so F is fare.

So am I understanding this correctly, that for a *A RTW fare (not *Lite), the booking class for business is D? The reason why I'm asking is I'm having a heck of a lot of trouble getting myself from HKG to practically in continental Europe because all the D fares are booked. Doesn't matter if I go to MUC, FRA or ZRH.

Yeah, this is common. D fares are worth less to the airline, particularly RTW fares booked in any class. Low yielding fares = less availability.
