Guess I missed that. What's up with the 2 777s in LHR?

When I took that redeye two weeks ago same thing happened, 747 instead of 777 (after a bunch of flight cancellations the previous day.

Shouldn't have been a problem for them....there was still 30 min between flights at ORD (between arrval of 938 from DEN (RFD) and departure to London....although it arrived at B16 and left from C16.

Figures...the one month I don't do the ORD <-> DEN runs, they swap in the 744's. Anyone know the load factors on the 744's at all? Are they going out full to / from DEN?

I've stepped out of the terminal before 5am more than a few times after that flight. ugh. I used to wonder if the pilots would take bribes to back off the gas a little bit or do some big loops on the way.
That's for sure. I flew a UA 747SP (ex-Pan Am) LAX-JFK some years ago, and with a nice tail wind, it was under four hours!
