My only point, badly made, was to reinforce something someone had said previously in the thread. If they allowed you to accrue the EQMs (not just RDMs) from the extra seat to an account of your choosing, it might be a popular program. |
Buying an extra seat
I have a question on buying an extra seat...
How does that guarantee you a seat next to you? If the flight is oversold, wouldn't they bump an "empty seat" instead of a passanger they have to rebook on a future flight? I would assume they would refund they purchase price of the seat, plus denied boarding compensation, but the seat would still be taken by another passenger. Am I wrong? Can I be bumped, but not someone else's "extra seat"? |
