e-Upgrades Not Re-depositing automatically
Looking for some advice here...
I had my partner and I waitlisted for flights to OGG. Long story (separate thread) short...I called to take us both back OFF the waitlist (using CR1's)...and the upgrades did not show up back in my account.
I called MP,and she first said that they would re-deposit after the travel date. ...? Then when I questioned this, she said that they take 72 hours to re-deposit. Well...it's been over that now, and they still haven't gone back in.
Anyone else had this issue? Any ideas on how to get them to figure this out?
Thx

Yes, not entirely certain why it works this way, but IME it's not unusual.
If its gone past the 72 after flight time, I imagine that you'd have the same experience I've had simply by calling MP elite and sorting it out. Sometimes it happens right away, other times takes a couple of days.
Good luck.

I have similar problem. Seems to be new UAL.BOMB.
Sponsored companion upgrade with CR1 but did not succeed (Jan 17) - upgrade did not make it back to my E-Upgrade Summary but when I recently upgraded one of my own flights the available CR1 upgrades total on that screen was one greater than shown in the summary!
Unfortunately the 'invisible' CR1 was not applied to my new itinery. I am hoping that this thread may help in getting this programming problem resolved!

Mine's worse. I flew last Tuesday (1/30 so 72 hours ago) and my upgrade didn't clear. It's a good thing because .bomb is showing that they pulled SWU instead of CR-1. Since it didn't clear it should be going back but so far it hasn't.
I wonder what people's success is fixing this if it did go through -- would they put the SWU back and take a CR-1?

It's not just re-deposits!
Slightly OT: I crossed the 10k-mile threshold for e-upgrades several WEEKS ago, and still haven't gotten the e-upgrades deposited.
I seem to recall a recent thread with similar experiences, but can't find it now....
Anyone else have the same problem?

I crossed the 10-k threshold in mid-Jan and still haven't seen any deposits. This is the longest it has taken in quite a while.

THIS IS MADDENING!
I was on the phone w/ Mileage Plus for 20 min this morning trying to sort this out.
She (was an idiot...but I digress) said she couldn't see the PNR...so she gets "reservations" on the phone. So when the Indian guy ("Gary") gets on the line, the first thing out of his mouth is "do you want to cancel your flight from LAX to Maui."
NO NO NO NO NO.
Some supervisor is supposed to call me. That was 6 hours ago. They'll never call.
Idiots.

It usually takes more than a week. Check back the next Saturday sweep.

Up until recently, it seemed to be tied to the rez appearing in My itineraries. Once the rez disappeared from My Itineraries, any reserved but unused upgrades would reappear in the E-upgrade summary. However, I've noticed that it's taking an extra couple of days now.

Data point: Both of my failed u/g attempts have resulted in the redposit of 500-mile certs within a few days. And I got my 4 certs on the Saturday sweep.
