*A Upgrades?
 
Does UA participate in *A upgrades? If so, how many partner miles do you need to upgrade on UA flights?

You would have to check the individual partners. The cost and participation is on a per-partner basis.

Could you be a little more specific? FROM what *A "partner" do you want the miles to come from? And where do you want to fly to/from?

I'm interested in two aspects of the program:
1. Using UA miles to upgrade T/A flights on LH
2. Using LH miles to upgrade domestic flights on UA

Also, are the upgrades available on all fare classes, or is it restriced? And do upgrades on UA come from the regular NF inventory?

(I'm trying to decide whether to collect miles with LH M&M or UA MP next year. Decisions, decisions...)

Looks like if you upgrade LH from a UA account you must be booked in: C, D, Y or B. (I do not know where the inventory is pulled from (R, O, I? maybe)).

I do not know what LH's requirements for UA. Maybe the *A forum or LH forum could help?
