CDG no longer a valid destination??

This morning I was trying to book several SFO-CDG trips(my usual destination)
and the system at UAL.com kept telling me that this was not a valid destination/no flights were available/etc. Anyone else have this problem or know what it means?? Or is this just another instance of ual.bomb performing true to nature??

Which dates were you searching?

I would check orbitz.com as thats where i booked my last united tickets. For the same fare basis .bomb wanted nearly $500 more per ticket than orbitz. As to why .bomb is tellig you that CDG doesnt exsist is beyond me.

On Oct 15 I was able to access saver award tickets from the SF Bay area to CDG.

Does UA really understand the extent to which their website is pathetic? Do they know that it's essentially non-functional? I can't imagine they really do, otherwise this promised new website roll out would have hapened sooner...

Irrelevant. The website essentially told the OP that UA doesn't fly to Paris. Yet another .bomb lost sale.

If this supposed new site ever surfaces, UA should launch a major online campaign to gain peeved off customers back.

I have this problem too since they ended the non-stop. The site is just really pathetic. You can call an agent to do it, but I like to compare flights and prices first.

It's really sad. :(

Please fix it soon.

Yes, this means another excuse to squeeze a few dollars from you to have you book over the phone or at the airport -- or to spend more money and not get bonus miles or EQM by booking on Orbitz or elsewhere.

I was pricing out some SIN flights not too long ago, and United.bomb gave me prices just fine ex-IAD, DCA, BWI, RIC... several other places I checked... but when I tried ex-ORD, it claimed that SIN was not a valid destination, just like the OP saw with CDG. Orbitz & Expedia worked fine ex-ORD, so chalk this up to another United.bomb oddity. :(
