Waitlist question
I am waitlisted on two flights, how will I know if I clear? Will it show up on My Itineraries or do I have to call in and ask all the time?
This is for award travel and I am waitlisted for the same flight, different day.
Under My Itineraries it shows me waitlisted, will that message change if I clear?

Waitlisted for a Y seat?
For an upgrade to C?
If waitlisted for an upgrade, it should show up in My Itineraries. But they probably won't assign you a seat until you call.

So, when you check My Itineraries now, does it show a waitlisted flight?

IIRC, it will change to "confirmed" ......
when the waitlist clears ..... (I did this in July for domestic flights)
but, you might want to check about the expiration for the waitlisted flights; the Tokyo office told me that the wait list request expires after 3 days, at which time it can be re-requested as long as the waitlist is open

I think that you do have to call to confirm, just like you do with any significant schedule change.
