RCC Access

Because of the "security" issue, I've decided to reduce my travel schedule.

Enough so I let my RCC membership expire.

That said, I'm on a MP award ticket today, C on one leg, F connecting. Do domestic C or F tickets give a 1K access to the RCC?

Nope, only intl. But you can buy a day pass for $50.00.

Thanks for the info.

Have a good weekend.

You can hang out outside of the RCC and see if your charm will convince a cardholder to bring you in as their guest. :)

That might work :p I was at LAX RCC last weekend really early. This guy was waiting at the front entrance at 4:55am before RCC was open. He looked very "entitled" :p. The door finally opened at 5:00am sharp. He ran inside as the 1st person, eagerly handed the boarding pass to the agent, turned around and looked, turned back. Agent said: "Sir, are you traveling in international business or first?" Guy: "Domestic?"

BZZZZZZZZZz :D

His face turned red and ran out of RCC

Too bad, I would have offered to take him in as my guest had him not been so "entitled."

lol, I'll throw in my funny "entitled" story too...

I wanted to change my ticket to an earlier day so I head up with my bags to the RCC in LGA. I make my changes and tell the very nice agent I'll be back in a couple of minutes. I go downstairs, check my bag at the Premier line, and as I'm leaving to head around the corner a "serious business traveller" practically runs me over. Apparently since I was in my travel-garb, wearing shorts and a polo, I didn't look important enough to make eye-contact with and say excuse me or anything. :p

He kind of did a double-take when he saw me behind him as he went through the RCC doors. Of course, since I was just there talking to the matron, I say hello and she just waves me by whilst mister-I'm-more-important-than-you gets to fumble for a card or whatever. ;) Probably confused him quite a bit. :D

Hint: Be polite, it doesn't cost anything.

I second UNITED959's suggestion.

I've asked plenty of folks to be my guest in the RCC/IFL...as the same gesture was extended to me prior to my having an RCC membership.
