Half a segment?
 
I just checked ual.bomb to see how many segments I have. Yesterday it said I have 13 and today it says 13.5. Is this some kind of glitch? How is half a segment possible?

You get 1.5 segments for each segment traveled on F, A, P, C, Z, Y and B fares.

Ah, I switched to another flight SFO-LAX and on the bp the booking class was Y that must have been it. Thanks for your help.

I've seen this on my first class segments as well. Can anybody tell me if they do this only for first class purchases and upgrades based on your fare class, or if they also do it when using the 500 mile upgrade certificates?

Although occasionally (?!!?) ual.bomb makes a mistake, the extra segments/miles are supposed to be earned only with the fare you pay, not the class that you fly in with an upgrade.

Every time I upgrade into F using 500 mile upgrades the class is NF and I receive no COS bonus.
