refaring after using VDB voucher?
 
can you refare an itinerary (assuming the fare drops) after you ticket using a VDB voucher?

Yes. These are "like cash."

Getting an agent who understands that might be the trick, though....

This is one of the things that united.com is pretty good at. As long as your original receipt shows what you paid + the amount of the voucher, you should be fine.

It's done through the change itinerary -> more options feature, I think.
