Earn 2,500 bonus miles when you register your e-mail address

The Wife and I, got our european mileage update today. I had some activity so this was listed, but the Wife hasn't and in the space where i had activity she had this offer listed:

"First, register for this offer at http://www.united.com/offer/mpi116 Then register your email address and opt in for member communications to receive 2,500 bonus miles. You must remain opted in for at least three months to earn the bonus miles. Just visit unitedairlines.co.uk select "Update Profile", click on "Register now" and complete the online form. etc etc etc."

I've already provided UA with my e-mail address and opted in for some e-mail communications, but what the heck . . .

This is an easy way to earn 2500 bonus miles - just have to put up with the junk mail they send.

Thanks!

OT - I'm finding it quite humorous that I see an ad for AS's MP (Mileage Plan) on this thread :D

Think they are going to make some money back by selling the E-mail addresses to the pill/porno/morgage people? I'm starting to get more protective of my e-mail address.

outlook 2004 has a nice junk email remover ;) best way to get rid of junk is through gmail. even then u have "friends" who spam you with dumb forwards and then they send to all instead of bccing to all.

you may want to create a "trash" email account through yahoo or another freebie that you use for these types of things, & hold on to your everyday email address only for people you trust

What ad? I've got a lot of interesting hostnames assigned to 127.0.0.1 in \windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts. :D
