I was looking at coach tickets for IAD-SAN for some non-stop flights that I regularly take for different weekends in february and march as well as an IAD-CDG at the end of june (even if for that one I know that it is a stretch due to the destination and the dates)

You need to be flexible about your dates. You also need to check US Airways. Finally, you might check connecting flights through ORD and DEN.
