crj-700 erroneously listed as explus

I was booking flights to and from RDU, and the return through IAD listed some of the options as Explus, others not. I set my trip up specifically to take advantage of the economy plus seating in the crj-700, but just called to find out that there is none on my plane.

Is it possible that the equipment will change to ExPlus later? Any other reason why United.com is erroneously listing some flights as ExPlus?

What flights are you looking at? I'm flying IAD-RDU-IAD next week and both of my flights are on ERJ-170's whch have an ExPlus.

I fly ORD-ALB a lot and the planes are CRJ-700s with exPlus on the outside, seats, and in FA announcements. They have first class seats, too. These are SkyWest a/c.

This is on 2/17: My flight is 7125. Other explus filights listed are 7625, 7612, and 7616, which are all ERJ-170s. Mine's the only Canadair listed as explus (so it's probably the only erroneous listing).

Mesa Airlines and SkyWest are still in the process of installing E+ on their CR7's so in order to not undersell seats they are still loading the old (non ExPlus) seat maps. I think Mesa and SkyWest will be done installing by the summer.

My recent AUS-ORD flight was marked ExPlus, had the meal boxes saying so, but it didn't have any E+ seats.

So, who knows. Are they still converting the planes?

Current seat map is showing a CRJ-700. Try for 12C/D. It's a short flight ;)

BTW, we have these configs flying out of our local (F and Y only, no E+). I either sit in 3C/D or 12C/D, as flight to DEN is a bit over 2hrs.

Thanks; that explains it.

I managed to get 3C, so that should hopefully make up for no E+.

I am on a SFO-SAT flight on Feb 4. It's markerted as explus but on a CRJ-700. Does anyone know if it's a truly explus flight? I am trying to decide whether to switch to the exit row (12C/D) from the supposedly E+ seat. According to seatguru, these seats have shorter cushion and could be uncomfortable. SFO-SAT is over 3 hours. Thanks.

All the SAT-LAX/SFO flights are ExPlus (or at least they're supposed to be...) - per the press releases announcing them....

You sure you were on a CRJ-700? They should be all converted by now. Mesa's fleet was delivered with First (but not E+), but should have E+ by now.

And UAX@SFO, who works for Skywest, as noted all of their CRJ-700s have been converted to exPlus specs (F and E+).

Annecdotally, the FAT-DEN flights I just booked on UX are on a CRJ-700 and the seat map showed F and E-, with no "premium" seats available. This was for October. I booked 3C, so, either way, I'll get a decent seat...

On the booking page, the "ex-plus" logo appeared under both outbound and inbound flights.

It is showing as a crj-700 in my confirmation; just a Candair jet explus on the reservations sight. The seatmap is showing it as a 2 class plane with no 3B, and the csr said that it doesn't have E+.

Am I right that if it has E+ it will have a 3B (with no seat in front of it) and if not a 3C (with no seat in front of it)?

In our case, 6674 and 6677 updated today to the E+ seatmap. woo-hoo :) We're in 3A/B both ways.
