Some basics...

Ok, I've looked around different threads trying to find answers, but no luck.... I'm fairly new at this, so I'll just ask..... :rolleyes:
What does everybody mean when they talk about "pillows & milk" on these forums? :confused:
The definition of 1K is obvious, but what is 1P and 2P? It's Premiere and Premiere Exec, right?
Thanks! :D

It is an old story about a legendary very frequent first class traveller who supposedly has special arrangements with UA to receive his bottle of milk inflight.

It's reversed, 1P is Premier Exer, 2P is Premier.

The pillows and milk is a reference to Mr. Pillows, an apparently very special customer on United who has a bag of real, full size pillows and special milk delivered personally to him on all his flights. Apparently he only flies full fare F, does so with great frequency, and gives United close to 1mill in revenue/year.

2P = Premier
1P = Premier Exec
1K = Premier Exec 1K
3K = Group of not nice guys who wear white sheets and stuff.

I believe you're confusing the "real" MrPillows with the MrPillows here at FT. They are not one and the same

Classic! thanks for the clarification (and the funny!) ^ :D You're kind of my idol now! :rolleyes:

Paella747,
Thanks for your original post and for asking that question. :) I'm a n00b to FT and have been lurking for nearly a month trying to figure out all the lingo and abbreviations. For the life of me, I couldn't tell 1P vs 2P either. I think I'll suggest an abbreviations list for the FAQ thread. It took me nearly two weeks to figure out that RCC = Red Carpet Club. LOL! I thought it was something obscure like "Regional Company Certificate" or something similar. SWU and RC-1 were easier to figure out. I'd like to think I'm not that dense, but maybe I am.

Here's the original thread .

LOL If you'd flown 3(00)K miles in a year you might feel like not being very nice to folks.. dunno about the white sheets though... perhaps if you're in the South...
