US Code share question

I'm looking at traveling DCA-JAX on 1/13, and my choices are a CRJ from IAD or a US 737 from DCA - I'd prefer both the DCA airport and the 737. However, I can't find this flight ( US 93) as a UA codeshare.

Two questions: 1) why can't I find this codeshare, does UA only codeshare certain US flights and/or does it change in 2006? 2) Can I still get EQM and FFM for my MP account if I book it as a US flight?

Yes, you get EQM and FFM for booking it, even without the code share, as long as you give them your FF#. You should also get priority boarding and such.

Just make sure you save your boarding pass. In my experience, USAir is horrible about giving the credit.

Not all US flights are codeshared with UA. This is one of those that is not. Same in 2005 as in 2006.

You'll get UA EQMs and M+ miles on a US flight if you enter your MP number, no matter whether it's a codeshare flight or not.

If you were taking this flight now, it would not be eligible for the current double EQMs offer.

Time for US miles to post to UA MP?

Assuming US had may UA MP number (they did), how long does it take for the US flight miles to hit my UA account?

Depends. Some posters have had poor experiences with US credit to MP but in my experience US has posted within 2 days...much faster than UA

Thanks.

Looks like I am going to have one of those "poor experiences". It has been a week.

Same here. I have had (fingers crossed) fairly good luck with many US flights posting very quickly (less than a week).

Ditto for me. I have had good experiences with US miles posting to MP faster than UA on many occasions. All of my US flights were booked either through the ua.com or usair.com web sites. I was certain to enter my UA MP # at the time of booking through US, and then checked my US boarding passes when printed.
