Why do I have extra EQM'S?

Like some others here, I keep an excel spreadsheet to keep track of my EQM's. I've checked and double checked, and even with all the promos I know about, I should have 64,516 EQM's but United says I have 66,630. While I'm certainly not going to complain about more than 2,000 extra EQM's, does anyone know where they could have come from? I've maxed out on credit card EQM's and haven't flown on any fares with COS bonuses. They're definitely bonus EQM's as my lifetime UA miles still match my own tracking.

Did you fly in full Y/B or C/D fares recently? You get 1.5 EQM/S. Or did you use your UA MP Visa to pay for your purchases?

I know you said you're not entitled to any COS bonuses.. So I assume your EQS are on target, right?

2k might be the great offer? Did you participate in that?

What is you segment total currently at? I bet that a High Yield Bonus accounts for thr extra EQMs.

UA MP Visa purchases for tickets qualify as EQMs???

Yes, up to 5K per year....with the Platinum Visa

I've noted that UA.com purchases, like 500's/RCC, etc, collect double RDM's, but no EQM's, as expected.

Wow, I think this just solved my 1k problem for the year. I didn't realize this, thanks! :)

Forgot to mention that my EQS's track with my own record. I've already received 5,000 EQM's for credit card purchases, maxed out on that a long time ago and haven't received any since. Already accounted for the great offer - plus the exact amount is something like 2,114. Double checked all the fares and nothing should have a COS bonus - even checked my upgraded flights to see if somehow I could have been given full C/F by mistake, but the amount doesn't match anything. I'm stumped - but again, can't complain about this particular mistake.

Extra 5k EQM?

So I just had my first ever Chase Platinum Visa monthly statement post and for some reason I received 10000 EQM when I was only expecting 5000 EQM.

1) I didn't spend $5k on United.com
2) My purchases were less than $200 in the first period, so definitely not close to the $35000 in spend.

Any ideas? I almost want to call to ask why, just out of curiousity, but I know that could result in me losing them.

If it weren't for the Elite Choice Team Competition, I would call... but I don't want to cost my team 5k EQMs. :D

Did you do segments less than 500 miles that just got retroactively increased to 500?

Even if you maxed out your $5000 for the MP Visa, it resets each year. Did you hit an anniversary date and start earning again?

That is only going to be 793 EQMs. I've accounted for all other EQMs on my spreadsheet.

Separately, Chase shows the following on it's summary page which doesn't make sense to me:
Miles earned from United purchases 140
Miles earned this statement from purchases 73
First Use bonus miles 20,000
EQM first use bonus 5,000
Total miles earned this statement 30,213

Umm... I've only ever spent $143 on purchases ($70 United Ticket, $73 United Hotel). So I doubt this is the case :)
