Looks like Thursday into PDX should be lots of fun ...

I think you can add ORD to that list, too... I'm on 1109 that day and I can't even pull it up anymore to see what the loads look like (is there any way of doing this? couldn't find it in the FAQ). Even back when I booked it a month or so ago, I got the last seat available in E+, and now that I've entered the 48 hour window I'm waitlisted for an upgrade.

PDX is a Mess!!!
 
I just booked a trip to ORD on 7/25. Cheapest fare was E, so went with A. It has been like this as of the 2nd week of June.

I don't think it's just PDX. Loads are at record levels this summer. That being said, UA flights out of PDX (particularly to ORD and DEN) have always been really full (at least the flights I take).

Thank you for checking that for me! Looks like I better get physically and emotionally prepared for that middle seat... ;)

I'd get excited about bump possibilities but just about everything going in that direction looks bad. I'll see what happens when I get to ORD. In the meantime, I'll be checking in online as soon as I hit 24 hours out....
