Gave them some more time. I called to the callcenter, they did not even know that fare class, but also do not have any remark, that o-class is not valid for mileage-acc.
Sent the boarding pass and a copy of my passenger recipt to them...We will see in a few month.

What's your guy's guess on this one.
ARN-BCN 1,430 miles
JK-Spanair operated (get's 100% RDM/EQM) -> SK-Scandinavia ticket stock (L fare 25% RDM/EQM)
People usually say Metal is the trump, but something makes me feel like I'm getting .025 x 1,430 = paltry 357 miles
Anyone want to place bets? I'll report back when I find out

Since all fare classes earn 100% though, you should be all set. ^

After a few month with MP, I come to the conclusion, that MP is as worse as my old program, Varig Smiles...

There is a small error in the Varig section. According to the page linked below, mileage accrual is allowed, but there is no redemption.

Just got burned on an intra-canada flight again @ 50% on AC.
"Discounted flights within Canada—50% of actual, paid miles (or 125 miles minimum)"

I was adding up the miles to squeeze out the most, if .bomb had say 250, I might have changed routing!

AC L class earns 100 % EQM on Aeroplan AFAIK.
UA V class would earn 100 % if domestic within US/transborder/international but not within Canada apparently.
I agree that trusting .bomb is not good form.
Think I might have a case as a one off exception if I send in my itin showing 500 award miles, and explain?

As I said, UA V class as ticketed, AC L class as posted.

*** It looks like the shorthaul minimums are 500/750 wth the higher Economy fare classes getting 750. We have only circumstantial evidence to support this. ***

Re South African, the list on the first page includes W but not on the UA website: http://www.united.com/page/article/0,6722,51396,00.html
What about if you buy a UA codeshare? The booking classes don't necessarily translate directly. For example, S is a mid-range fare class on SA but ultra-discount on UA.
Looking at a random IAD-FRA-CPT flight ual.com offers a UA W fare with a codeshare FRA-CPT.

After seeing this post to my account I send in my boarding passes for the 2 long haul SAA flights, assuming there was some mistake. I was then rejected and told W class did not exist on SAA, therefore no mileage for me. I argued I received my credit on JNB-PLZ-JNB but somehow (no idea how) those tickets were full fare Y according to customer service (definitely not the care).
In the end, after many e-mails and phone calls mileage plus customer service "gave me" 6,000 RDM as a good faith gesture which posted as "policy change" to my account. So I ended up loosing 2-3k RDM. I never had the understanding I would get EQM on SAA so didn't miss those.
This year doing the same trip (replacing FRA with LHR), booked it all S fare hoping to avoid the hassle. My other option was IAD-JNB-PLZ all on SAA (only about $80 more if I booked on flySAA.com), but it actually didn't save me much time given a forced night layover in JNB, but at least some will be E+ , get my elite bonus RDM and EQM on the UA segments and (hopefully) don't need to fight for miles this time.
Good luck

Any recent experiences with E class intra-Europe on LH?
These fares are the only way left to mileage run intra-Europe. I'm planning to buy a few later in the year to help in 1K renewal, but I'm afraid in the end it won't count.

E-Classe posting was still working to weeks ago on FRA-VIE-FRA. But take care, only E is posting, not the more expensive L/T.

If the destination is less important for you, there are ready-to-fly-offers with 4 segments for about the same price as two E class tickets, but booking into S or W.
