Question MSP Construction Update Request

Hi,

Does anybody know if they have finished the construction around the United MSP gates yet or when its supposed to be done?

When I was there a few weeks ago the E gates were closed and all United flights were being handled in D.

Thanks in advance.

On my flight yesterday they were still using only the D gates. Sorry I don't know when they are supposed to be finished.

I was told by a UA employee in the RCC that they should be back in the old location by July 4th.

The RCC at MSP has been nice and quiet for the past month though. I was chatting with an agent in there who confided that they discussed closing it during the construction period. However, they felt that pax had paid for an RCC to be there, and that they shouldn't let down their best pax.

I am willing to bet this came from our favourite agent at the RCC (she does have the good scoops). If they close the club that is a really bad sign. It is usually one of the most crowded clubs in the UA network, and with a flight every hour to ORD and a few to DEN IAD and YYZ it does earn its keep.

As for the constuction update. The last I heard from the MSP folks is the first week of June. They are supossedly almost done. I guess only time will tell.
