Are e-fares ex-USA only or do the reverse exist?

So UA put out these Cheap cheap fares ex-USA to various Asia-Pacific cities.

So when there is a fare sale, does that mean that the fares are generally released in both directions?

e.g. if ORD - NRT is on sale, then is NRT - ORD also on sale?
(Note: I understand that there are markets in Asia that historically are cheaper. so that a round-trip fare ex-BKK between BKK-NYC is going to be generally cheaper than a round-trip ex-NYC between NYC-BKK.)

Slightly OT: On further thought, I'm also wondering:

Are fares priced the same regardless of direction domestically?
e.g ORD - LGA is going to be the same for LGA-ORD.

US Only

I haven't seen efares available here in Japan - I think they are US only. Generally, I find the US-Japan fares cheaper than the Japan-US fares.

All international fares exist in one direction only (except for Canada). That isn't to say, however, that Revenue Management can't decide to file a sale in both directions. Oftentimes that doesn't happen because the market conditions from a foreign point-of-sale are different from US point-of-sale.

However, domestic fares are valid in both directions.
