EQM Calculation
Ok. So I track my miles flown each year in a spreadsheet.
I have also started trying to track my EQMs, however this is a bit tricker given that can't just look at the United mileage summary are calculate this number. They show it to you, but I am not sure why my calculation and theirs are different. So I have the following questions: 1. Is there a time lag for getting EQMs calculated correctly? For instance, I flew FRA-ORD in business on Monday. The credit has shown up for the flight but does it take a few days for the EQM calculation to catch up? 2. I assume that Luftansa business class flights do not yield a bonus for EQMs. They count for regular EQMs but not bonus EQMs. Is this correct? |
1. Yes, there is often a couple of days delay for the additional 50% EQMs and 0.5 EQS to post.
2. The bonus EQMs / EQSs are available on LH transatlantic flights between the US and Europe and also US Air. |

I didn't even get them for a Y fare on intra-Europe flights. I also asked about the UA codeshare flight numbers being put in, and they said that wouldn't make a difference. |
