Sealed Airplanes?

On a couple recent mainline flights I've noticed evidence that the 1L door has apparently been sealed with tamper-proof security tape at some point. Any insights into why/where this might have taken place? It looks like it's been done more than once.

A lot of times when an a/c RON (remains overnight) with the jetbridge connected (or even pulled sometimes), the airlines will use a security seal to make sure no one unauthorized enters the a/c. I see this mostly for int'l pax and cargo a/c that can't stay at a gate, so perhaps this a/c was at an airport where it was at some type of remote hardstand. It also usually means that some type of security personnel have to break the seal, enter the a/c and seach it before crew or pax board.

Used a lot of time at overseas stations. Used on all external access panels as well, so security personnel know if anything has been tampered with.
