UGS program mentioned in Ameniti Website

I wanted to cancel my $10 Trial membership and was browsing the Ameniti website for the phone number to call. Guess what I found in the FAQ section.

Ameniti Program FAQs

8. How is Ameniti different from Global Services?
Global Services is a separate discreet program that participants are invited into on an annual basis. Global Services offer high-yield travelers access to worldwide recognition, priority status and dedicated support throughout their air travel experience. Ameniti is a fee-based travel club. In addition to handling air-related inquiries, Ameniti also handles all other types of inquiries and reservations associated with the club's benefits (hotel, car, cruise, etc.)

I wonder how discreet can it be when you put it in the FAQ section. :p

Well, people who would take advantage of Ameniti (and fly on full-fare tickets) might either be UGS members, or have heard about it from other full-fare flyers. :)

Discreet?

I think that the real issue is their editor doesn't know how to spell discrete! They wanted to say that Ameniti was a different service than UGS. They definitely aren't being discreet about it, but I guess that's up to their discretion...

Well UGS is, technically, a discrete program in that it "constitutes a seperate thing" from Mileage Plus (at least in theory - in practice, many of us would beg to differ as it seems more like "1K Plus").

I didnt think that UA even tried to be discrete about UGS? You can walk into some airports and see the "Global Services" desk right next to the check-in counters?
