US codesharing on TED flights, too?

I noticed this morning when looking into some business travel arrangements that my corporate site wanted me to take an America West / US Air mixed itinerary (ugh!)

Weird thing was, the fine print on the US Air flight was that it said, "Operated by United for TED" or something to that effect, and when I scrolled down through the alternate flights, I saw the UA version of the same flight, sure enough on TED, for $20 more.

Flying US is painful enough, but having to fly US on TED?

Actually, I'd rather fly Ted than US metal, since at least you'll have economy plus... (so I'd agree that flying US is painful, but flying US on Ted is less so...)
