Please help clarify something about Elite Status

To qualify for Premier Executive do I need to fly 50,000 miles within ANY one year span, or do all the flights have to happen within the same calendar year?

For example, say on December 31 I have 49,999 miles, and then on January 1 I fly 1,000 miles. Does that mean I missed Premier Exec by one mile, or am I now Premier Exec because those flights still occured within the same 365 day time span.

Please help clear this up.

Thanks!

You missed by a mile ( though they would probably comp you if those were BIS miles) - the qualifying yr is Jan1-Dec31

Most definately a calendar year: 50,000 EQM's between January 1st and December 31st.

Your status is recognised until the end of feburary of the following year however.

I just qualified for Premier about two weeks ago. Does this mean I lose my Premier status in Feb of 2005? That would mean I am Premier for only 5 months?
