P fare (First Class?)

I was reading the EQM guidelines today and noticed United added a "P" class that's designated as F class. Anyone know where a "P" first fare shows up? That's news to me...

SFO/LAX-JFK full F is usually a P fare. About $4000.

UA uses the P booking code for transcon first class in a 3 cabin.

P designates First Class on the three-cabin aircraft between SFO/LAX and JFK. It's essentially an F fare, they just call it P because it's a "Premium Transcon" or something.

Same thing on AA. F on the JFK-LAX and JFK-SFO (most frequencies) is coded as "P" class.

I believe P is the uniform code for First Class. Looking at my SQ Boarding passes there is small print on the bottom that says something like P cabin or class or something like that. looking at my reciept it shows I paid for F, yet P is the class
