Great XC award inventory last week, now not
 
Last week a lot of Business Saver XC award inventory suddenly opened up on UA transpacific. It looked like every second day LAX/SFO-SYD through September had XC available, as many as 6 seats.

Then in the last few days it closed up again. Anybody know what is going on here ??

These things happen. The workings of inventory and revenue management is largely a mystery.

no doubt at least some were booked by people. You have to grab these kind of things as soon as you see them!

1 week is a long tim. FTer's usually look at XC and XF inventory three times a day and grab them while they can ;-).

Same thing happened on a SFO-LHR flight I'm watching. Went to XY9 for a day and then back to zero.
