PCU worth it on E70?

Hi All

I can upgrade Y to F from IAD to IND for $75.

this includes baggage and i have 1 bag to check, so really $50 for the upgrade.

Is there any difference in the service for F cabin, ie food and drink, or is it just a slightly bigger seat?

Also have no United status, so definately wont get op-up'd etc

Thanks for your help,

RJs are never worth it as it is. Don't waste your money.

I'd pay $50 for a nicer seat in F versus non E+. IAD-IND is a 2-hour flight.

Thanks guys

Will also have got off an 8 hour trip from lhr, so quite tempted

Do bags come out any quicker if your in first?

First checked bags get a "priority" tag. Whether they actually come out first is hit or miss.

I think you should buy e plus for the entire trip. E plus on a e70 will be pretty good especially if you can snag row three.

OP - if you're flying from London through to IND on one ticket, you're getting one free bag anyway.

Still might be worth it to be in F for baggage issues. You might also be able to "sneak" in the Elite security or check-in lines since part of your itinerary is in F.

My lhr -iAd leg is on BA mfu'd to business so I get 3 bags + hand luggage! Lucky the wife isn't coming or we might actually use it all.

Would usually just have the one case, but looks like it is going to be pretty cold, so might need some extra layers driving from ind to Columbus to cle and then to pit before flying home

Also thinking the priority security que might be useful if I get short of time on the transfer

IAD's security lines tend to be terrible for elites and nonelites alike during busy times.

Honestly though, domestic first (unless on one of the more premium products such as United p.s. or AA Flagship Service) isn't that terrific. It's certainly not worth $75 to experience it in a regional jet.
