UA paper discount travel certificates (CS25)
I still have a bunch of paper $25 UA CS discount certs - are these still usable? Can they be used with miles & points? Thanks in advance.

Do they have an expiration? T&C's will probably also preclude them from being used for anything other than purchasing tickets. Therefore it is doubtful that you can use them for an upgrade co-pay. However you could always ask, maybe a gate agent somewhere will take them.

I've done a few more searches in the meantime and have concluded that these are likely worthless. I've emailed CS to see if I can get anywhere, but am not counting on it.

CS25 certs expired 1 year after issue. It has been at least 2 years since we stopped issuing them. So you can put them in your travel scrapbook

Validity of UA CS Discount Travel Certs ?
Hi
I have four $25 Discount Travel Certificates from a few years ago and want to find out whether there is any way I can still use them ?
They are approx 9" x 3", blue in color with superimposed clouds.
Says PROFILE NAME = PMO/DollarUA and also says 'TIC CODE = CS25.
Cannot remember why/when I was given them by UA. Says valid one year from date of issue, but "Date & Place of issue" is blank.
I doubt I can use them anymore, but thought I would reach out in case anybody has been able to redeem these in recent times ?
Thanks
Mike

CS25 have not been issed for many, many years and only were valid for 1 year -- a few years ago some had some success in exchanging expired CS25s but doubt you would have much success now
