Haven't updated this thread in awhile, but this seems to be getting worse, not better. Just this week on a flight departing IAD, I was told by the FA that they did not load any alcohol on the flight.

The plane was on the ground at IAD for an hour, so not trying a quick turn or anything. Leaving a hub, so not the previous flight taking all the drinks.

Is alcohol catered on a whim for UAX?

I was told on a recent return from SJU that they only had 2 or 3 bottles of vodka left (pre-take-off) because they had served a special vodka cocktail on the way down the night before. It sounded dubious as I've flown that route lots of times and never heard of any special cocktail.
