USair eqm posting to UA at end of year
Hi,
I'm taking a US air flight dec 26 and want the eqm to post to my UA account for 2011 elite status. If there are issues with posting and any sort of delays, will the miles still count for my 2011 status retroactively even if it takes more than 5 days to post? This will make the difference between silver and gold for the year, so it's important that I get the miles credited to my UA account for 2011.

It will be based on flight date, not the posting date, so you will be fine.
Lots can happen between now and then with flights, if you are just one flight away from qualifying at the end of the year I would add in a couple more flights to have a buffer. One bad weather day can ruin your status.
