Just a heads up for those of you who are tracking...the 77Q is making an appearance on IAD-NRT for the first time today (according to Cargo).
So I guess that relates to the earlier poster's comment that it was missing from LHR operations early this week. Of course, still no idea why--and it doesn't show up again on the IAD-NRT run as far out as I can see. It looks like it is going on and making the turn in PEK, then back to SFO.

I have two flights on United 777 flights from LAX-IAD and SFO-IAD in February and March...what are the chances of having the new international United Business on these flights, since they are listed as 3-cabin?
Haven't flown 3-cabin domestic 777 in quite a while...

UA 891 [LAX-NRT] 25 January
Looks like UA891 is also a new config 777 so those in Japan might have a shot at the new seats on the way back to the US.

Hmmm. Scheduled to fly LHR-IAD on a 77Q a week from yesterday... Sure hope that sticks!

Any chance that NRT-SEA would be getting the new config anytime soon? (I'd love it by May 1)

I am booked on UA803 IAD - NRT on April 14th. This seat map seemed to change for me a couple of days ago to reflect the new configuration.
Same thing with UA804 NRT - IAD on May 2nd.
Still a long time until the flights, but interesting to see flights so far out showing this. Unless this is just a side-effect of the sporadic use of the new config on these routes.

Routes seem to be all over the place at the moment
The 77Q's seem to be going all over the place at the moment - and at short notice. LHR-SFO was a TPAC 777 (closet at row 8) yesterday and (I think) twice last week.
Flightaware shows some very odd scheduling which has the same plane in GRU and in DXB at the same time - I guess this is either an error in the system that flightaware pulls data from, or it means that it hasn't really been decided which route to use the plane on yet.
Seatmaps show what the broad operating plan is, but it seems that that is very liable to change. My experience is that the seatmap will only change if that broad plan changes, or when a different plane is actually committed to that route (usually 24-36 hours before departure).
unitedcargo.com will give you the short-term operating plan (7 days ahead) but even that is liable to change from day to day as those 7 days pass.
My conclusion is that you shouldn't get too excited about having a 77Q on your route and you should also take your Empower adapter with you just in case.

Or in the case of travel to/from LHR in Y, you shouldn't get too depressed about having a 777Q, because you might score the much better old config, with soft seats, more lavs and paired seating.

924 tonight just swapped to the 77Q....and it killed my confirmed upgrade According to flightaware, the 77Q is coming PEK-SFO-IAD which is just....odd?
