Can I use continental "currency" on UA metal?
Ive got 2 continental currency vouchers for free on board drinks.
Got a UA flight booked for after august. Can i use these on board to get a few beers? Since its one company now?

You can try... I know people who have used RCC drink chits, as well as expired UA in-flight drink chits. Why not CO drink chits? Worst they can say is 'no'...
Probably wouldn't bother to try on a UX flight, though.

Not sure the CO currency voucher for drinks is the same as CO drink chits. But it has been saying the drink chits from both side can use on either airlines now.

Whoops - perhaps I am mistaken from what I thought, and you can use them on either carrier now?

I used CO currency on a UA flight at the end of January, and have since heard announcements (on CO) explicitly saying they would use vouchers from either CO or UA.

I used a Co currency coupon on a domestic UA flight earlier this week (after asking); FA was well-aware that they were accepted on UA.

I specifically asked and successfully used 2 CO drink vouchers on a UA flight 3 days ago SEA-ORD.

So I was denied on a CO flight yesterday from HOU-LAX when attempting to use a UA drink chit (1K voucher) to buy a drink. 
The FA said that "we're not accepting those yet".

Looks like the UA transitional training for FAs is ahead of the training for CO FAs.
