Really -- my flight, UA 926 is right on schedule per UA 1K desk. They did not hear about this. Do you have a source?

at the gate they announced all 757s are delayed due to a glitch software for the 'air data' system. It will take an hour to fix, so we are told. GS desk did not hear about it when I called either.

and I'm on a plane (p.s. flight). Just before departure time were told computer had to be checked out compliance. Pilot guessed 1.5 h, but wasn't very confident in his guess. I suppose this will have to be done on all 757s.

In the gate for 943 to LAX and they announced a possible delay due to software. We're still on time to depart at 5:19.

Edited to add that 943 is a 757.

Confirmed...
Both RCC agents told me that there is a ground stop on all 757 due to a software updated for the radar needed.

I got protected on the next flight (non 757) and also got an option to rebook more direct if its even more of a delay. I need the EQMs, so I hope my 540pm dept wont be delayed too long.

On the phone with an my friend at ORD who works the gates. She called to tell me about a "data uplink" problem. All 757's are grounded until further notice. She said the mess is just starting at ORD.
