Now it's $49.99 "activation fee" + $34.99/month contract for 36 months with the first month free ($1224.65). $1274.64 for 28,600 miles? I don't think so.

for those who did get in on the original pricing, be aware you may need to get an alarm permit for your jurisdiction.

Can't help you there, but my miles did just post. I signed up at 11pm the last day of the offer. Time to cancel!

looking to purchase the Essential LifeShield kit

hi, I hope to have a kind soul help me here. I purchased the above deal from LifeShield back in Mar 2011, and need to cancel my contract now. Problem is, my hsemate's friend accidentally threw out the alarm system when I moved out.

I need to return the Essential kit to LifeShield for a lower penalty, if not, the costs would be astronomical to break the contract.

I'm willing to pay for the alarm system if anyone has broken their LifeShield UA 25,000 miles contract, and does not have use for the alarm.

feel free to send me a message on flyertalk. Thank you

regards,
lp72

bump! - need essential lifeshield kit

bump!

hi, still looking for anyone who's willing to relieve themselves of their LifeShield Essential security kit (for those who bought into the promo in Feb/Mar). If you do not need the alarm system anymore, I would be glad to get it off your hands for a small sum.

Pls kindly help if you know anyone who has an extra alarm they do not need.
Thank you
