Good thing I'm flying to KOA this weekend!
I honestly hope that this storm is not like the one that occurred last week!

I'm doing an LAX-MIA turn to see friends and play some golf Saturday/Sunday.
LAX-IAH-MIA on the way out but MIA-IAD-LAX on the way back (last flight out of IAD. Could get interesting.

Potential VDBs from the weather backlog?! :P
I hope next weekend isn't like this though...I'm taking someone to NYC for their first flight/trip ever and don't want any issues.

Don't worry about IAD. Local weather forecasters (who, alas, get it wrong a lot ), say that we are going to get very little. Maybe more next Tuesday and Wednesday, but you'll be gone by then. Enjoy London. Who knows if they'll get even more snow there.

I am traveling SFO-ORD-BDL on 1/8. I sense I will be delayed ORD-BDL.

SFO-JFK-SFO UA6/863 this Saturday (1/8) and screw Uniteds travel waiver ....unless UA cancels the outbound flight, instead of one extra pair of underwear, t-shirt 'n socks, I'll pack two ) (plus and extra bag of Tootsie-Pops ) as I'll "have my hotel room" .

I'm flying BOS-IAD on 1/7, so we'll see. For those interested in the actual cause of this waiver, here's a somewhat informative video: http://www.weather.com/outlook/video...or-storm-19220 .
