Is there a conversion matrix of fare basis between UA and CO?
I was looking around trying to find this information, but no dice. I will be flying to NAS and FPO a fair amount this upcoming year and since it is on CO (no "old" UA flying these routes), I will be booking mostly B-up type fares on CO.
My question is, if I credit to my UA account, will I get the 150% bonus on the elite qualifying side for a B fare, or does this fare convert into another bucket with UA? |
I think Y & B are already the same on both UA and CO and you should get a 50% EQM bonus. I read in a post by CO Insider in the CO forum that later this year there will be a fare bucket alignment and I gathered from what he said that CO will change its buckets to match UA's (although there could be some changes on both sides). But this hasn't happened yet.

If they did my ticket correctly when downgrading me from UA to CO, here's the mapping:
UA W -> CO N UA V -> CO S |
Someone in the Star Alliance forum (sbm12?) is/was compiling a list for all Star Alliance carriers. The big problem is that it's not a one-to-one mapping. A given fare bucket on one airline can map to multiple buckets on another airline.

There have been recent reports of CO B mapping to UA H and not earning CoS bonus
