I'm at 100,124 and that's it for the year.

Now my mileage plus page greets me with a message saying I need 49,876 elite status miles (EQM) to progress toward 2 more systemwide upgrades. Thanks, but no thanks.

Likeliest explanation is US EQSes + no US status.

I made 2P in 2006 with 31 EQS and 26,000 EQMs. That's about as close as I ever want to cut it.

I'm at 19,721 EQM or .5 EQS to 1P, and my last flt of the year will be 8022 EWR to IAD this evening. Gives me 1P with .5 EQS to spare. Missed it by 2 EQS last year even with the DEQS promotion, this year an honest 60 EQS.

I am the proud owner of 100,389 EQM. That doesn't cut as close as some others, but it's the closest I've come.

And the game starts all over again in just two short weeks...

Could be the OP flew a lot of US, which doesn't offer 500-mile minimums even to elites? You still get the full EQS, but can easily clock a bunch of sub-500-EQM segments that way. Or another *A partner who doesn't offer mileage minimums...

Oh, they offer them to elites -- just their own, not UA elites.

100,009 EQMs though only ~85k BIS (rest from COS bonuses and chase). First and possibly last year at 1k.

How close to 100K are you? I bet I'm closer...

I just did my flight calculations through the end of the year and it looks like I will make 100K this year with exactly......

100,025 miles!

Woohoo, only 25 miles too far. How does that compare with your projected annual total? Are you closer to 100K that I? Or proportionally closer to 50K? One year I made it with 50,005 miles. That was a nice one.

I think there should be a contest on this (now that I am so close).

Ouch! Well, I haven't bought my last flight yet. Might need to find a wee shorter ATL->? routing to get 2,374 miles and retain my title. ATL-DEN has me at 2,398 on WebFlyer.
